How Do I Resolve Payment or Subscription Issues?

Learn how to manage your payment details, update billing information, and handle failed transactions using your Telescope Live account settings.

Accessing Your Account Settings

To resolve payment or subscription issues:

  1. Log in to your Telescope Live account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.

From here, you can access all billing and subscription management options.

Managing Payment Details

Telescope Live provides a simple way to update your payment details through Stripe.

  • Change Payment Method

    • In Account Settings, navigate to the Billing section.

    • Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe-hosted portal.

    • Update your payment method by adding a new credit card, switching to PayPal, or using other supported methods like Apple Pay or Google Pay (availability depends on your region).

  • Add or Remove Payment Methods

    • Save multiple payment methods or remove outdated ones in the Stripe portal.

    • Select your preferred method for future transactions.

  • Set Billing Information

    • Add or update your billing information (e.g., company name, address), which will appear on your invoices.

  • View Invoices

    • Access and download all past invoices directly through the Stripe portal.

Handling Failed Payments

If a payment fails, Telescope Live will notify you via email. Most failed payments occur due to issues with the current payment method. Here’s how to resolve it:

  1. Verify that your saved payment method has sufficient funds or is not expired.

  2. Try another payment method by updating it in the Billing section under Account Settings.

  3. Once updated, your payment will automatically retry, or you can manually retry it in the Stripe portal.

Troubleshooting Common Payment Issues

  • Declined Transactions: Double-check that your card details are accurate and your bank has approved Telescope Live as a vendor.

  • Pending Charges: Your bank may place a temporary authorization hold; this typically clears within a few days.

  • Promo Code Issues: Ensure the code is valid, has not expired, and meets eligibility requirements.

  • Duplicate Charges: If you notice multiple charges, contact support for a quick resolution.
