Follow these steps to successfully install and set up our desktop program on Windows!
Installation:
1. Open up your preferred web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Edge, Opera, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Vivaldi etc.). Go to our download page:
2. Click 'Windows' under Telia Cloud for computers:
3. The app will start downloading, and you can click the file in the lower part of the screen to start installing the app once it has finished:
You can usually also find the file in your "Downloads" folder in Windows Explorer. If you selected another folder as your download location, the file will be stored there instead.
4. Select your preferred language for the setup guide:
5. Choose the directory where you want Telia Cloud to be installed. Click 'Next'.
6. Choose if and where the Telia Cloud shortcut should be created. Click 'Next'.
7. Click 'Install' or 'Back' if you want to change something from the previous steps:
8. After the progress bar is fully green and the installation is complete, choose to launch Telia Cloud when the installation completes and click 'Finish'.
9. If the application does not open you will find the Telia Cloud icon in the bar down to the right. Right-click and choose 'Open the Telia Cloud application'. This will be the first step to setting up the Telia Cloud.
Installation:
1. Click 'Get started'. You will be taken to the Telia Cloud website and asked to fill in your login details and log in:
2. Select the app from the taskbar and read the information on backup and click "Got it":
3. Name your computer and choose which folders to back up right away. Click 'Next'.
4. Read the information on synchronizing. Click 'Got it'.
5. Choose the location of the Sync-folder, and if you want to synchronize to the computer you're on or not. Click 'Start'.
You are finished!
As soon as Telia Cloud has scanned and uploaded all files in the folders you've added, it will have 'Updated' next to it. You can view the progress at the bottom of the window.
