The easiest way to share folders in Telia Sky is through our web interface at sky.telia.no.
You can share folders from all storage locations — Sync, Backup, and Archive — but only folders in Sync can be shared by inviting users via email.
Sharing Options
1. Share via Link
This option allows you to generate a public link to your folder.
Recipients can view and download the content.
No Telia Sky account is required.
2. Share via Email Invitation
This option lets you collaborate on folders with other Telia Sky users.
Recipients must have a Telia Sky account.
Shared users can edit, upload, download, and delete files within the shared folder.
Only available for folders stored in Sync.
Important: When you share a folder, you remain the owner of the folder. Only you can manage sharing permissions and make changes to the top-level folder.
How to Share via Link
Log in to your Telia Sky account in a browser
Select the folder you want to share
Click "Share"
Enable the sharing link
Copy and send the link to your recipients
How to Share via Email
Log in to Telia Sky account in a browser
Navigate to the Sync section
If your folder is stored in Archive or Backup, you must move or copy it to Sync first
You will see the "Move" or "Copy" option when selecting the folder
Select the folder you want to share
Click "Share"
Enter the recipient’s email address
Click Confirm
The recipient will receive an email invitation and must accept the invitation to access the folder.
