Edit or remove a grower, farm, field, or planting in list or map view

Written by Cheryl Evans

A grower, farm, field, or planting is referred to as a 'profile'. Moving a grower, farm, field or planting will move the profile along with all data associated with that Profile. For example, if you select to move a grower, it will also move all farms, fields, and plantings along with any data sets tied to the fields. Additionally, only growers may be moved from one location to another. Farms or Fields may not be moved between locations, but instead moved to a Grower and then the Grower may be moved to a new location.

  1. To edit or remove a grower, farm, field, or planting, left-click the profile of interest in the list view and select "Move".

  2. After selecting 'Move', select where the items should be moved to in the new window that displays.

  3. Select the option to 'Edit this (Grower, Farm, Field, or Planting)'.

    • Proceed to edit any information and select 'Save' in the bottom right.

    • In the List view, select anywhere in the row, then select 'Edit'.

  4. Select the option to 'Delete this (Grower, Farm, Field or Planting') to remove the record and all items belonging to it.

  5. Deleting can also be completed when in the edit modal of a record by selecting the 'Delete' option in the lower right corner.

💡A prompt will be displayed asking if you are sure you would like to delete the record. Choosing "Delete" will remove the entire record.
