The Measure Tool is available in the Map View or in the various edit modules (while editing a grower, farm, field or planting). The Measure Tool allows users to map out an area or draw a line between points and get a value in feet and acres. This tool is just used for reference before or after creating a boundary and does not replace the current mapping process.
Navigate to Growers, Farms, Fields.
Select a Grower, Farm, Field or Planting; or navigate to the Map View.
Select the ruler icon in the upper left of the map view. (A)
4. Select the tool you wish to use for measuring.
A. Arrow: Use to pan the page or select a shape to edit.
B. Line: Use to measure between two points by clicking the first point of reference then double-clicking at the second point of reference.
C. Polygon: Single click to map out a polygon, double-click to finish.
D. Trash Can: Delete the shape mapped out for measuring. If it is not deleted, then the next time the page is refreshed it will be removed. Delete is not required, it's only used to clear the shape while viewing a field.
