The Seed weight calculator is designed to help users quickly calculate the total amount of seed they intend to treat. The calculator offers three different calculator options.
On step 4 of the crop record, select 'Seed/Seed Piece Treatment' as the method.
2. Add the seed treatment product under the application section and enter all applicable details.
3. Next, select the calculator icon to begin calculating the seed weight. As previously mentioned, there are three options for calculating seed weight: population, container, and seed size. Choose the appropriate method, and enter the desired information to determine the total seed weight. For this example, we will use the population to calculate our seed weight.
4. Select 'Add' to add the calculated seed weight to the crop record.
5. Next, enter the Application rate. Note, that the total used may be entered, and the record will calculate back the application rate.
6. Select 'Done' to add the seed treatment and finish the crop record.
