Raw Files Index

After the user uploads a raw file, the file is placed in a queue for processing. This feature will let the user view the status of their uploads and search past uploads.

  1. To access the Upload Queue, navigate to Logged Data > Raw Files. The system will then display a list of files in the queue for that user.

  2. This page does not have a map view or dashboard as the data has not been processed yet. To see data that is finished see Logged Data.

    A. Uploaded - Choose the date.

    B. Type - Choose the controller or integration the file originated from.

    C. Status - Converting, Error, Finished, and Hold.

    D. Actions - Download the original file format that was uploaded.

3. Relative - Choose from a date range relative to a period of time such as the last 7 days, 30 days, year, etc

4. Absolute - Choose a start and end date to search within.

Configuring a Shapefile

Once the generic shapefile is uploaded the status will show as "Hold". Then the shapefile will need to be configured before it can be converted.

  1. To begin configuring the shapefile click the pencil icon.

2. Choose the correct label and template if applicable. Today there are several preset templates. If the shapefile uploaded does not match any of those, then simply skip selecting a template and map the data columns for the specific file. Templates are designed to speed up the import process for common types of shapefiles.

3. Next, make sure to configure each line item. This includes configuring the Date section to the appropriate "Date" column within the shapefile. If the file does not contain a date column, one can be manually entered by using the calendar icon.

4. When working with Application shapefiles be sure to enter the Product name, and map the Applied rate unit of measure.

5. Once all configuring is complete, select "Convert"

Associating a Raw File to a Location or Grower

Users can scope/associate individual raw files upon upload after enabling a setting which requires each raw file to be associated upon upload. To learn more about enabling the setting please see User Settings.

  1. After the setting is enabled, all Raw Files that are uploaded will go to a 'Hold' status.

  2. Select the file to scope and select edit associations in the bottom right corner.

3. Next, add the associations for the file:

A. Organizations - adding an organization will allow the data to flow to any boundaries under that organization only.

B. Growers - adding a grower will ensure that the data only flows into boundaries under that grower(s).

4. Once complete, select save. The associations will then be shown in the list view under the associations column.
