Input holiday

⚠️Company directors upgraded part way through the year: The director will receive the full allowance again unless a setting is changed in TELUS Farm Payroll. This must be done before the first payroll. Find out more.

⚠️My ePay Window: To avoid creating a duplicate My ePay Window account and before you publish. The support team will have to configure your account to accept a connection from TELUS Farm Payroll. Contact the migrations team at farmplansupport@telusagcg.com to start the process. This should be at least 7 working days before you publish using My ePay Window.

⚠️Pension Year to dates: These will need to be added to the employee pension in the employee record. Employee record > Pension > Click edit pension > Pension YTDs > Edit Opening Balances.

⚠️Average holiday calculation: The upgrade tool brings across the cumulative values, this is not enough to calculate the average holiday rate. In order for the system to do this you will need to add in pay history.

This check is for both employees holidays and default allowances

How to check

Employee Holiday Leave Setup

  • Each employee’s allowance, accrued amount, and balance will transfer from Earnie where applicable; other Holiday Leave fields must be input manually.

  • Click on the Employees menu, select an employee to open the employee details screen and click on the Leave tab; select Leave Settings and enter additional information where required.

Default Holiday Leave Setup

  • You can also enter default holiday information into TELUS Farm Payroll so that when you create a new employee, the system will enter the holiday entitlement. Click on the Employer Name in the top right-hand corner, select Edit Details and click the Leave tab.

How to make changes

  • Make amendments to Leave Settings and default allowance where required.

❗We strongly recommend that you parallel run TELUS Farm Payroll with Earnie for at least one payroll period after the upgrade. If this is not possible, check the first period’s figures thoroughly.
