My ePay Window Transfer from Earnie

What is a Product Origin?

A Product Origin is the Payroll system which is currently connected to myEPayWindow (MEPW) and where the published payslips are sent from.

Why do I need to transfer the Product Origin?

The Legacy payroll systems are being retired in March 2026 and all clients are being migrated to the Cloud based payroll system. In order for the current history and users to remain in use, the product origin will need to be transferred to the new product.

What will happen if we don’t transfer the Product Origin?

There will be a duplication of the company, all employees will receive a new invitation to the portal and would have to create a second user account. The payslip history would not be linked and users would have to log into two different accounts to see the payslips from Pre Cloud system and Present Cloud system.

How to enable Transfer of Product Origin

This is a function only available to My ePay Window super admin users, please contact the support team to have this option enabled in your payroll departments administration section.

Include the name of your business from My ePay Window when contacting support, this is visible on the Orange Bar at the top when you log in as the administrator, e.g. this is Farmplan:

You will be able to see if it has been enabled or not if the tick box below has been filled.

Process to transfer the product Origin on a company

First navigate to the list of Employers you have by clicking on Employers on the menu on the left side of the screen.

You will then be shown the companies which are under your payroll department, this may be only one employer.

To transfer the product origin, click on the company you wish to transfer and select Transfer Product Origin

You will then be shown a list of tick boxes, please read and then confirm that the steps have been completed. Then click save

You will then be shown the Transfer options, in the “To App Origin” select Staffology.

For the transfer date select the date you wish to switch to using TELUS Farm Payroll for live pay runs, the earliest date will always be tomorrow.

In the Employer Key Code add the employer ID from TELUS Farm Payroll. ADD LINK HERE.

Click Transfer and this will queue the task to run overnight.

The following morning it is recommended to check the Product Origin showing in My ePay Window, this should now be Staffology and will enable you to follow the steps below.

How to connect TELUS Farm Payroll to My ePay Window

Click on your company name in the top right, hover over settings and select Connected Services:

On the options which then appear select Employee Portal and then click on the My ePay Window Logo.

You will then be asked to enter your username and password for My ePay Window. Once this is completed, the company will be linked and show a green box around the logo as shown above.
