Overview
This guide explains how to create notification groups and add users to them in TFSQ. Notification groups are used for system alerts and are distinct from user groups.
About Notification Groups
Notification groups are created separately from their alert settings
Alert settings for these groups are managed in Active Alert and Escalation Process Administration
Notification groups are different from user groups
Creating a Notification Group
Enter a name for your group in the data field
Click save
The new notification group will appear in the main screen box
Adding Users to a Group
Click the pencil icon next to your group's name to edit
The page will refresh showing user addition options below the notification groups table
Adding Individual Users
Scroll down to the dropdown list of users
Select the username
Click save
Repeat for additional users
Adding Multiple Users
Click "Add multiple users"
In the pop-up box, locate desired users
Check the box next to each user's name
Click save when all users are selected
The complete list of users will display in the group box
Managing Group Members
To remove users added by mistake, click the X at the end of their row
