Managing Mobile Devices in TELUS Food Safety & Quality (TFSQ)
Overview
The mobile device log allows you to view and manage devices that have TELUS Food Safety & Quality (TFSQ) Mobile installed, including both Mobile for Windows and the mobile app. You can monitor device status, check software versions, and manage device access all from one central location.
Accessing the Mobile Device Log
The mobile device log can be accessed from the user's menu. You will only see devices that are associated with your subscription.
Device Status and Updates
In the status column, you can review whether your devices have the most up-to-date software installed. This feature is specifically for the Mobile for Windows version of TFSQ.
Status indicators:
Green with "Up to Date" - indicates you have the latest version
Red with "Update Required" - indicates the device needs updating
Updating Your Software
If you are accessing TFSQ from the same device that uses Mobile for Windows, you can download the most recent version from the actions column. When logging into Mobile for Windows, a popup will automatically appear giving you update options.
Finding a Specific Device
To find a specific device, you can search for it by name in the device name column or use the search box to enter the device name. The status will show if it's up to date, and the current version column provides specific version details.
Mobile App Users
For users of our mobile app, please note that the "Download Latest Version" action is not relevant, and the status column will display "NA". These devices will update from the app stores when a new version is released.
Disabling Devices
To disable a device, simply check the box next to the device name and select the disable option from the actions column. This feature is available for all versions of TFSQ mobile.
