Please use this article in regards to resetting your password on a mobile device.
When a user of a mobile device becomes locked out and needs their password reset we need to ensure that both the office system and the mobile device have the same information.
On the mobile device please run a Full sync – the best way to do this is to use the QC Sync Config utility, to find this please click Start, All Programs, Muddy Boots Software Limited, Greenlight, QC Mobile, Greenlight Sync Config.
Click run full sync now:-
Click the “Run Full Sync Now” button
The mobile device will now send the message to the Telus Food Safety and Quality Office system to let it know the user account is locked out
Open a web browser and try to log-in to TFSQ Office with your user name:-
You will see the "Your account has been locked out." message with an underlined link. "Reissue password".
Click "Reissue Password" and an email will be sent to you to allow you to enter a new password
These emails are sent every 5 minutes, there may be a delay in receiving the email due to email security software so your email should arrive within the next 20 minutes.
When the email arrives it will have a subject line of "QC Office Password Recovery (Step 2 of 3)". Within the email is an underlined link that can be clicked only once (please note it must be used within 24 hours):-
Click on the underlined link to open the TFSQ Office User Profile screen.
Choose a password and type it into the "New Password" and Confirm Password" boxes then click "Update"
You will be automatically logged in to TFSQ Office.
Click “Log out”.
Back on the mobile device, before you try and log in, click the "Run Full Sync Now" button again, this will copy the newly changed password down to the mobile device.
Close the QC Sync Config utility.
Open the QC Mobile application and log in with the new password.
