There are a number of settings available to you in QC2. To view and update your Settings, begin by pressing the Cog icon on the dashboard.

Sync Settings

If you want to adjust the kind of data that is saved to your device for use offline, press Sync Settings; you can then adjust the sliders to meet your needs (e.g. if connectivity is intermittent, you may want Guidance or Specifications data available so you can view it wherever you are).

The bottom two options are related to users with integrated data only. If you do not have integration, enabling these options may extend your sync times unnecessarily.

Sync and refresh data

Using “Sync and refresh data” will trigger the app to request all data again – this essentially repeats an initial sync and ensures that the local database is fully up to date.

This sync will take longer than a normal sync as the app will be requesting all offline data, like a fresh installation.

Auto-Logout

To enhance the security of the app, we have auto-logout functionality. If you’re logged into the app and there is inactivity, you will be logged out after a pre-configured time of 20 minutes.

This can be configured by pressing Auto-logout time and selecting your preference:

This will allow you to configure the number of minutes of inactivity after which the app will log you out. Only select Never if you are using the app constantly offline - logging into the app requires an internet connection, so this is only available in case an internet connection cannot be readily established.

Please note: The logout is only applied when the app is inactive and becomes active again (e.g. app was in background or terminated). The app will not go to sleep mode during sync's - so the app should stay active during this time.
