Actions can be added to completed and synchronised checks to clarify when a subsequent task related to the check needs to be performed. Examples might be: voiding the check, asking for the check to be re-done, or returning the product to supplier. They can either be added in TFSQ QC Office or within the QC2 app itself.
These are different to corrective actions.
Setting an Action against a Check
1. To add the action, you will need to select the View Check History page and select the Check.
2. Select the Action Button
3. Select the Action required, add a comment, and modify the check flag if appropriate.
An option to notify a group is also available, as well as notifying a supplier. The latter is only available if the supplier information is captured in the assessment's Header.
4. By clicking the ellipsis against the relevant check you are able to view any existing actions, which will direct you to the next section of the app - Action history.
5. Here you are able to view any actions raised, as well as deleting an action if required. This is done via the ellipsis button, and is only available if the app has not been synced yet.
6. On the next sync, QC2 will sync the action to TFSQ QC Office. When viewing the TFSQ QC Check report you will see a list of any actions created against the check.
