For instance, there is no travel allowance for hospitality and catering shifts, unless these companies provide this anyway.

If you are eligible for travel allowance this is how it works. A flat rate is set by the CAO, meaning it's a fixed amount you receive regardless of the actual costs of travel. It considers the distance from your home to your work location.
Flat rate: A flat rate means you receive a set amount for travel, no matter how you commute or how much you actually spend. This simplifies the process and ensures you know what to expect.
Automatic calculation: The travel allowance is automatically calculated based on your personal details, so you don’t need to worry about manually applying for it. We set the fastest route between your home address and the work location.
Distance limits: These depend on the relevant CAO. For your shift, it may apply that the first 10 km are not reimbursed, and the maximum refundable distance is 35 km. This results in a maximum reimbursement of 25 km per one-way trip.
