Why Was My Payment Applied to the Wrong Lease?

What to do if your cash rent payment was processed but did not show up on the correct lease.

Always Use the CashPayments Slip for the Lease You Are Paying

Every lease you have in the Tenant Portal has its own unique Account Number. If you used the account number from a different lease by mistake, the payment was applied to the wrong one.

Going forward, log into your Tenant Portal, go to the specific lease you want to pay, and open the CashPayments Slip for that lease. Use only the account number on that slip when you go to Western Union.

Important: Do not reuse an old slip. Always generate a fresh one from the correct lease before making a payment.

If your payment was already applied to the wrong lease, contact your property manager right away so they can help correct it.
