Overview
For your convenience, you can access your Tenant Portal with the DoorLoop mobile app on both iOS and Android. While the app functions similarly to the desktop version of DoorLoop, there are some slight differences.
What are the benefits of the tenant portal?
Your Tenant Portal will give you access to Pay Rent Online, View Payment History, Set up Automatic Payments, Submit Maintenance Requests, obtain Renters Insurance, and receive important Announcements from your property manager.
If you are having issues with the DoorLoop app, please refer to our FAQ section.
Home Screen and Overview
The Home screen is an overview of your account. Your Tenant Portal may look different from what you see here in these examples based on what your property manager has set. Normally you’d see your Balance Due, upcoming Rent Charges, and any Announcements made by your property manager. You also see buttons to Setup Auto-Pay and Make a Payment.
At the bottom, you'll see additional buttons to make Requests, Setup Auto-Pay, and Get Insurance.
Payments
The Payments tab is where you will view your Payment History. Here is also where you can set up auto-pay and make payments.
Make a Payment - This button is used to make a one-time payment or set up an auto-pay either by Credit Card or ACH through your bank.
CashPayments Slip - If your property manager enables this, you'll be able to download a copy of the cash payments slip and by cash via Western Union. More information on this here.
Transactions List - View all your past charges and payments.
View Attached Files - Your property manager may attach files to any charges posted or manual payments that were received. You'll be able to view these files by clicking the Paper Clip icon and downloading the file.
Download Your Account Statement - You can click the download button in the Payment History section to download a copy of your Account Statement.
To make a payment, please read the article here: How to Make a Payment Through the Tenant Portal.
Note: Payment methods and the ability to make partial payments are set by your property manager. If you have issues with any of these, please contact your property manager.
Insurance
The Insurance tab is where you upload your renter’s insurance information if you haven’t already done so. You will also be able to upload a copy of your insurance for proof. If you already have, your renter’s insurance information will show up here.
You will also be able to Get Insurance from Lemonade here if you don't have Renters Insurance. For detailed instructions on how to do this, read the following article: How to Get or Enter Renters Insurance on the Tenant Portal.
More
The More tab will have two items tucked away in there that you can click on. These would be Requests and Announcements. Below is a description of what both do:
Requests
The More > Requests tab is where you can make Tenant Requests and also view the status of previous requests. For example, if you need something fixed in your unit, you can make that request here and view the progress of each request.
To make a tenant request, just click the New Request button to get started.
Enter the subject of what the request is for.
Enter a detailed description of your request so the property manager can better understand your issue.
Additional Information - Let the property manager know if you have any special instructions for access to your unit, for example, which days work best for you.
Files and Documents - You can also upload photos to your Tenant Requests in case you want to show proof of specific issues you are having.
Click Save when you’re done.
Announcements
The Announcements tab is where you’ll view important property manager announcements. This could be information about when they might be entering your residence for general maintenance, landscaping, and more. Announcements sometimes will also appear on the Home page or through email or SMS.
Tip: If you need any help with the tenant portal, you can use the blue chat bubble at the bottom right corner of your tenant portal.
You can also click your profile picture at the top right corner.
Then select Help Center, which will take you to all the tutorials and help documents.
