Overview
If you're reading this, it means you have received an email or text message stating that your Tenant Portal is Ready. This means you have been invited to access your tenant portal by your property manager. You will need to accept this invite before being able to access your Tenant Portal and below are the steps for how you would do this.
What are the benefits of activating your tenant portal?
Your Tenant Portal will give you access to Pay Rent Online, View Payment History, Set up Automatic Payments, Submit Maintenance Requests, obtain Renters Insurance, and receive important Announcements from your property manager.
There are two ways you can receive a tenant portal invitation - either by email or as a text message.
Accepting the Tenant Portal Invitation
You Received the Tenant Portal Invite Through Email
If you receive an email invite (Subject: Your Tenant Portal is Ready), follow the steps below.
Your Tenant Portal Invite will be in your inbox with the subject line “Your Tenant Portal is Ready!”
Open this message and click the pink link that reads, “Go to Your Tenant Portal.”
The link will open in your default web browser. Your Login Email will be the one you received the portal invite on. Complete the details of your login by entering the password you want to use. Your new password will require the following:
Minimum length: 8 char.
At least 1 capital letter
1 lowercase letter
1 number
1 special character (spaces not included)
Then retype the password in the confirmation box.
If you do not see a screen like this and instead see one that reads Welcome Back with an email and password field, you most likely had a login once before and just need to enter your login details, or you will need to contact your landlord or property manager for further instructions.
Click Sign In to complete the process.
You Received the Tenant Portal Invite Through Text Message
If you receive a tenant portal invite through text/SMS, follow the steps below. You can accept the invitation through the text invite, but you still need a valid email address to log into the Tenant Portal.
Click on the link you received in the text message. It will look something like "https://i.doorloop.com/j/gsfdgsfhsfh"
After clicking the link, you'll be prompted to enter a login email address. Remember this because this is what you'll be using to log in each time. If you weren't prompted for an email address, skip to Step 4.
You will now need to enter the password you want to use. Your new password will require the following:
Minimum length: 8 char.
At least 1 capital letter
1 lowercase letter
1 number
1 special character (spaces not included)
Click Sign In to complete the process.
If you are still having issues accepting your portal request, please contact your property manager, who can assist you further. They may need to send a new invite or reset your account.
