Why Verification Is Required
We request verification to:
Reduce fraud
Create a secure space for users
Ensure everyone is who they claim to be
We partner with Stripe for identity verification. Stripe uses computer vision to create biometric identifiers of your face from the provided selfies and the picture on your photo ID.

You can still use your account without verification, but you must verify your identity before setting up online payments or applying for jobs.
How to Get Verified and Earn the Verification Shield
Start the Verification Process:
Click your profile picture (top-right corner)
Go to Settings
Select the Security tab
Click “Verify account”
1. Document ID Verification
You will be prompted to take photos of your ID document from both sides.
Device Selection:
Complete on mobile device (choose one):
Scan QR code
Receive SMS link
Receive email link
Copy a direct link
Continue on current device:
Use mobile or webcam
Accepted Documents:
Driver’s license
Passport
Government-issued ID card
⚠️ If your verification is declined:
Submit a support ticket with a photo of you holding your ID next to your face. Ensure:
Name
Date of birth
Expiration date
Document number
are clearly visible.
Camera Access:
Allow camera access when prompted
Without access, verification cannot proceed
Place your verification document in front of your camera. The system will automatically make a photo when the document is fully within the frame:
Take a photo of the back of your verification document.
Photo Tips:
Use color photos
Fit ID fully in the screen
Avoid shadows and glare
Hold the camera steady
Don’t cover any part of the document
Once both sides of your ID are captured, the system will:
Take 3 selfies
Match them to the ID photo
ID Verification Statuses:
Processing – Please wait a few seconds
Inaccurate data – Retry the verification
Submitted – Docs are under review; click “Continue” to proceed
Note! You have three attempts to verify your ID.
2. Address Verification
Visible only in supported countries
You will need to provide:
First and last name
Date of birth
Country
Address
Click “Verify step”:
Provide your First and Last name, Date of birth, Country, and Address. Click “Submit“ to proceed:

3. 🔢 ID Number Verification
Available for U.S. users only
Provide:
First and last name
Date of birth
Last 4 digits of your SSN
Click “Verify step”:
Enter your First and Last name, Date of birth, and last 4 digits of your SSN. Press the “Submit“ button to send the information:
Note! You have three attempts to verify your SSN.
4. Phone Verifications
Mobile
Enter mobile number:
You will receive a 6-digit SMS code that is valid for 5 minutes. Enter the code in the form and hit submit:
Direct Line
Enter landline number:
You will receive a code via automated phone call. Enter the code in the form and hit submit:
Didn't get the code?
Click “Resend code”
Double-check your phone number
Use “Use another number” to change it
⚠️ Do not use virtual numbers (e.g., Vonage). They may fail to receive codes. Use a real mobile or landline number.
5. 🔍 Background Check
Choose if you'd like to purchase a $49.99 background check to accept job offers from landlords inside or outside the platform.
If you select Yes:
Then enter the required personal info and click Next:
Then select if you have a contractor's license:
If Yes:
Provide your Contractor's License Information:
Note! Your license must be valid for at least 1 month from today.
And your Liability Insurance Details:
If No: Proceed to Checkout
If you select No:
Click “Request verification” to complete the process
Note! You can order the background check later via Account Settings
It is valid for 1 year, and you can update your license during that time for free.
6. 💳 Checkout
Agree to the Terms of Use then click “Pay & Request verification”
Enter your payment information and click “Submit payment.”
After Submitting
A verification manager will review your info within a few hours and you’ll receive:
Feed notification
Email confirmation (approval or decline)
You can track your status via “View Request” or return to your Dashboard.
