FAQs covered in this article
When editing or adding to a product, there are two key sections to understand:
Base Fabric Summary (Product Details)
Color Variants
Below is a breakdown of what each section contains and how it contributes to your product's visibility and performance.
Product details (Base fabric summary)
This section represents the GREIGE — the base material before any color is applied.
The information here is shared across all color variants.
If you update this section, it will apply to every linked color of the product.
Application section:
Applications are one of the first information your client sees when they land on a product. Curators (experts selecting products) will be using this functionality to showcase materials in relevant categories.
Adding the correct application helps increase your visibility in dedicated spaces and improves search rankings.
For example: A client searches for materials using terms like “textiles for apparel tops,” and all of the properly tagged products will appear in their search, increasing visibility and driving sales.
What you can specify:
Industry (e.g., Apparel, Home, Outdoor)
Market (e.g., Tops, Blazers, Streetwear)

Certifications
A key filtering factor for buyers looking for certified materials. Adding relevant certifications increases the chances of your product being chosen by clients who require specific industry standards.
Examples of what you can add:
Sustainability (e.g., Bluesign, Global Organic Textile Standard)
Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO standards)
Regulatory compliance ((e.g., Fire Retardant, OEKO-TEX®)
Marketing tab
The marketing tab allows you to upload additional materials that give buyers a clearer understanding of your product’s capabilities:
Promotional videos
Company information
Collection brochures (for seasonal or themed product lines)
Providing these materials helps buyers visualize the material in their production process, making it easier for them to choose your product over competitors.
Enable production orders
Enabling this feature allows qualified buyers to place production order requests directly from your product page. By enabling this feature, you allow actionable requests that save time and turn inquiries into confirmed orders.
Validated orders: Receive requests that align with your preset conditions, reducing errors.
Transparent tracking: Track edits, feedback, and communications on a single, evolving order page.
Complete order details: Access all specifications, color options, and delivery preferences upfront.
The more details you provide, the easier it is for buyers to choose your materials. Make your product pages work for you: boost visibility, reduce lost sales, and turn browsing into buying.
