Resetting a ladder is great when you want to start a new season and want the records for the new ladder to be reset to zero.  

IMPORTANT: Resetting a ladder will clear all historic win/loss records for your players if you do this. The better approach is to shut down one ladder and create another so the previous ladder data can be retained.

Deleting a ladder is a way to hard delete a ladder out of your account.
