Step 1: Create a Property and fill in basic information

Step 2: Once a valid address has been added, scroll down to the satellite map. Rotate the map clockwise or counterclockwise (upper left arrows) until the property is aligned to your liking.

Step 3: To begin outlining, select the "Start Outline" icon at the top center of the satellite map (this icon will turn white when selected).

Click on each edge of the roof structure in order to form a polygon and outline a section. Once you've clicked back on the original point, the Section will be created.

Note: You must outline the roof as if you’re drawing a contiguous shape (i.e. follow clockwise or counter-clockwise)

If you'd like, click "Delete Section" immediately to the right of the map.

Create custom sections names (e.g. North Building, South Building, etc.), add Roof Type and Notes to the right of the satellite map.

Note: By default, each section will be named "Section 1, Section 2, etc."

Outline as many sections as you desire, repeating the above steps.

Step 4: Click Save

💡 Pro Tip: Each roof section should indicate a new area of the property. For example, if your property is a large building with 3 roof elevations, it might make sense to outline 3 different Sections on the satellite.
