Occasionally, books can be mismatched—especially when authors share similar names. Matching ISBNs to the correct author is a common challenge across the book industry — even Amazon and other major retailers run into it. Occasionally, when we import books for an author website, we accidentally pull in books by a different author with the same name.
The good news: it's an easy fix. You have two options:
Let us handle it. Just reach out and we'll deactivate or remove the books from your showcase for you. Just make sure you share the books that need to be removed.
Do it yourself. Head to the Books section of your admin, click the arrow next to the book in question, and select Delete or Deactivate. The book will disappear from your profile right away.
Either way, you can get your library cleaned up quickly.You can remove any incorrect books before publishing by deleting them from the Books section in your editor.
