We do not apply DRM to eBooks sold through the platform. When a reader purchases an eBook, they receive access to download the file, so it isn’t locked in a way that prevents sharing.
That said, this is actually quite common for direct-to-reader sales — many authors choose to sell without DRM and instead focus on the benefits of direct connection with their audience (and keeping full control of their pricing and customer relationships).
If you’re looking for an added layer of protection, some authors choose to include things like a personalized note or watermark inside the file, but that would be something managed on your end before uploading.
