Purpose
Use this procedure when a user attempts to log in, but their access or reset link has expired. For security reasons, the unique links sent in new user invitations and password reset emails expire after 24 hours.
Method 1: Use the “Forgot your password?” Link
This is the fastest way to generate a new access link yourself.
Go to the Netstock login page.
Click the “Forgot your password?” link located below the Log in button.
Enter your email address, and a new access link will be sent to your inbox.
Method 2: Ask an Administrator to Reset Your Password
If you are unable to use the “Forgot your password?” link, a colleague with Client Administrator access can reset your password for you.
Ask an administrator to navigate to System > User admin.
They will select your user profile and click the Reset button.
A new email with a fresh access link will be sent to your email address.
⚠️ Watchouts
Each access link will only work once. If multiple password resets are requested, only the most recent link will remain valid, all earlier links will be deactivated.
💡 Tips
Preferred method for users: Self-reset via login avoids waiting for an admin.
