Purpose
Use this procedure when the app incorrectly rejects a valid email address during user creation, editing or password change.
Step 1: Verify the email spelling
Carefully double-check the exact spelling of the email address you entered to ensure it is correct.
Step 2: Bypass the validation (if you're certain)
If you are certain the address is correct, tick the checkbox labeled "Use this email address anyway" that appears directly below the error message.
Click the Create or Update button again to save the user's details.
💡 Tip
Error behaviour: Even if you see the "Invalid email address" message, it will not necessarily prevent a new user from receiving their initial access email, provided the email address is spelled correctly and is functional.
