Navigate to: Settings > Configuration > Supplier

Definition

Specifies a hard limit for excluding fulfilled purchase orders with measured lead times greater than the defined number of days when calculating item lead time and safety stock.

Use case

If the configuration parameters for Lead Time Cut-off (deviation) and Lead Time Cut-off (%) do not sufficiently exclude extreme data, a hard cut-off can be set. Unlike the other cut-offs, this setting uses an absolute number of days rather than a deviation or percentage.

Use this value with care. Do not assume an arbitrary threshold. Review actual supplier data before setting it. For some businesses, a lead time of 365 days may be unrealistic, while for others it may be entirely normal.
