Quick Summary: Password creation and changes require strong credentials. The app checks password strength live while typing and only accepts passwords once the strength indicator is green.

Password Requirements

Whether a new user is logging in for the first time or an existing user is updating credentials, the app enforces minimum password requirements.

As a password is typed, the system displays colour-coded strength feedback along with a message. Users must adjust the password until the strength indicator turns green before it can be saved. Recently used passwords may also be rejected.

What Makes a Password Strong

A strong password includes:

  • Uppercase and lowercase characters

  • Numbers and symbols

  • No personal identifiers such as names or birthdays

  • No dictionary words or predictable sequences such as abc

Note: The app may also reject any passwords you have used recently.

⚠️ Watchouts

  • Recently used passwords: The app may reject passwords that were used previously.

  • Strength requirement: A password cannot be saved until the strength indicator turns green.

πŸ’‘ Tips

  • Faster success: Mixing character types early often reaches green strength quickly.

  • Better security habits: Avoid memorable patterns even if the meter allows them.
