How to send emails from Documents

Within a Document's Details, emails can be sent from the user's client or from over.vu (noreply@over.vu). Emails can be configured or manually written to reference data from the Document.

  1. Click on the Action Menu

  2. Click Send Email

Content

  1. Select an Email Template

    1. Users can manually create an email or select a created template

      1. Selecting a template will populate its subject line and body

  2. Subject Line

    1. Users can write this content manually

  3. Body

    1. Users can adjust this content manually

    2. Add Fields – Users can reference information from Workflow by utilizing its field signature within an Email

      1. Click on the row of a Field to copy its Field Signature

        1. Some default system fields are excluded

  4. Attachment

    1. Users can attach files that have been uploaded to the Job

      (Attachments will only apply if sending from over.vu)

Recipients

  1. Click Recipients to continue to the next step of adding recipients

  2. Add People Selection

    1. Select an Audience for the email

      1. See People Selection for more details

  3. Select the type of email communication (To, CC, BCC)

    1. All three types can have separate recipients

  4. Individual Recipient(s)

    1. Select contact(s) from over.vu’s Manager

  5. List(s)

    1. Select list(s) from over.vu’s Manager

  6. Preview Recipients

    1. Display all the contacts selected

Sending Emails

  1. Open in client

    1. Create the email within the User’s default email application

  2. Send from over.vu

    1. Send the email from noreply@over.vu
