At Testkokoro, we strive to offer an intuitive and efficient platform for candidates to complete their assessments. However, we understand that questions or issues may arise during the process. Below are solutions to the most common problems related to invitations and test-taking.
Can a candidate be selected and sent a different email than the one defined in the account?
Currently, it is not possible to select a specific candidate to send a different email than the one configured by default in your account. Emails are sent equally to all applicants.
What does it mean when a candidate sees that the evaluation process has expired after clicking the link?
If a candidate clicks the evaluation link and receives a message stating the process has expired, it means they are trying to access an assessment that is no longer active. The candidate must use the link corresponding to an active process.
How to resolve if a candidate reports not receiving the test invitation?
If a candidate reports not receiving the email invitation, here are two solutions:
Resend the invitation: From the "Actions" column in the candidate view, you can resend the invitation. It’s important that the candidate uses the latest invitation sent, as previous ones will no longer be valid.
Send the invitation to a different email: If the candidate still hasn’t received the email, you can send the invitation to an alternate email address.
Make sure to verify the status of the invitation. If it appears as "invitation sent," it will change to "invitation opened" once the candidate receives and opens the email.
What to do if a candidate reports they were unable to complete a test in the process?
In that case, log in to your Kokoro account, go to the corresponding process, and select the candidate’s name. From there, you can resend only the specific test they were unable to complete.
🔔 Important: Make sure to resend only the test(s) that the candidate did not complete. If you resend the entire process, it will restart from zero and all previously completed test data will be lost.
Keep in mind that the final report is generated only when the candidate completes all assigned tests.
Where can the photo of the candidate taken during the test be viewed?
The photo taken of the candidate during the test appears in the results report next to their name. The candidate has the option to enable or disable the camera before starting the evaluation process.
What information is required to directly invite a candidate via Testkokoro?
To invite a candidate to complete an assessment, you need the following information:
Email address
First and last name
If the invitation is sent via a public invitation link, the candidate will be asked to provide their email, first, and last name to ensure proper identification in the process.
What to do if a candidate cannot access the evaluation?
If a candidate cannot access the test and the platform is operating normally, the issue may be related to the network they are using. If the candidate is on a corporate network, it may be blocking access.
Solution: Recommend that the candidate attempt to take the test on their mobile device using mobile data or, if possible, on their personal internet connection (e.g., from home).
What is the average response rate for candidate assessments?
On average, our clients achieve an 84% response rate when sending tests to candidates. However, this percentage can increase significantly with a more personalized contact strategy.
Tips to maximize the response rate:
Filter resumes: Select profiles that better align with your requirements.
Make prior contact: A brief phone call to confirm the candidate’s interest can be very effective.
Communicate the next steps: Inform candidates that, if they pass the selection stage, they will receive a test as part of the process.
Humanizing the process, even if it is partially automated, builds trust and commitment from candidates, ultimately improving assessment results.
