TetherBox is Offline

TetherBox is Online but not Recording

If you can playback events but not see the live view, there are several reasons why this could happen:

  • PoE switch is unplugged, or otherwise, your TetherBox is not able to communicate with the network.

  • There is an issue with the camera(s), refer to Camera Troubleshooting.

  • Something unexpected went wrong.

Open the TetherBoxes page in the Admin section to see if there are any errors visible there. Pay attention to the load columns to see if there is anything suspicious there, such as high load/temperature.

If you cannot see any detected issues but you are unable to get the TetherBox to record, please get in touch with us at support@tetherit.io and a member of our team will connect and help diagnose the problem within 24 hours.
