What is a project?

A project is where all your work lives in Tetra Insights. All your plans, files, analyses, and insights are within a project.

A project consists of 8 sections:

  • Dashboard - A quick view of all other sections and activities conducted in a project. Learn more about the Dashboard

  • Plan - A TetraDoc to input all your plan details, so you and your team are on the same page. Good for adding goals, objectives, questions to be answered, and processes to execute the project. Learn more about Plans

  • Files - Upload images, docs, links and create TetraDocs to support the execution of your research project. These files are just for reference and cannot be analyzed and synthesized into insights. We are working on this feature. Learn more about Files

  • Tags - Repository of all the tags and metadata tags in a project. Here you can create, edit, delete and merge tags. Learn more about Tags

  • Assets - Upload all your video and audio recordings for analysis here. Your assets will then be transcribed and ready to be analyzed and turned into insights and highlight reels. Learn more about Assets

  • Synthesis - Search and filter your annotations with tags and create insights to be downloaded and shared. Learn more about Synthesis

  • Insights - The repository of all the insights you create during synthesis. View, share and export your insights from here. Learn more about Insights

  • Report - Summarize, add conclusions and highlight themes learned from the research project in this TetraDoc. Learn more about Reports

Note: On the free plan, you can only create 1 project.

Create a project

To create a project, click on "Create Project" on the project page in the upper right-hand corner.

A modal will pop up to add and edit the following:

  • Name - Name your project. This is a required field.

  • Description - Add more details about the project here.

  • Access - Choose between 2 access settings:

    • Everyone in Your Organization - The project is accessible to all users in your organization. It will appear in their projects list.

    • Private - Only the users you select will see and have access to this project.

Edit a project

To edit the name, description or access click on the 3 dots next to the project name on the projects page or in the dashboard. Make your changes, then press update.
