Use the Zoom integration to upload assets from cloud recordings directly into your project or to a created Live Notes. With a custom enterprise plan, you also have access to the Zoom integrated Live Notes experience. Let’s see how to get started.

Enabling Zoom

  1. Click on integrations under the user icon in the left hand corner.

  2. Locate the Zoom integration and click “Install”.

  3. Log in with your Zoom credentials.

  4. When prompted, accept the Tetra insights app request to access your account.

  5. Once installed, there will be an option to select from your Zoom recordings when you upload an asset.

Uploading a new asset from Zoom

(Only for admins and researchers)

  1. Go to assets under a project.

  2. Click on “Upload asset”.

  3. Click on the Zoom icon in the upload window.

  4. A list of Zoom cloud recordings from the last 30 days will appear, select which recordings you want to upload to test.

  5. Select “Create new asset”.

  6. Change the name of the asset if you wish. The name will default to the name of the Zoom recording if not.

  7. Click "Next".

  8. Wait for initial upload to complete.

  9. Select transcription languages.

  10. Click "Complete" or "Check out", depending on your plan.

Uploading a Zoom recording to an existing Live Notes

(Only for admins and researchers)

  1. Go to assets under a project.

  2. Click on “Upload asset” OR click on “upload recording” under an existing Live Notes session.

  3. Click on the Zoom icon in the upload window.

  4. Select a Zoom recording from the list.

  5. Select “Link to Live Notes”.

  6. Select which Live Notes to associate the Zoom recording with.

  7. Click "Next".

  8. Wait for initial upload to complete.

  9. Select transaction languages.

  10. Click "Complete" or "Check out", depending on your plan.

Using Zoom with Live Notes for scheduled participants*

(Currently only available for enterprise customers. To use recording feature, make sure you have a Zoom account that has cloud recordings available.)

  1. Go to Participants.

  2. Find scheduled participant.

  3. Click on Launch. It can take up to 30 seconds for the Zoom to successfully join the meeting. When you join, Zoom and Live Notes will be integrated in the same window.

  4. When the host of the meeting presses “Record”, the Live Notes syncs with the time of the recording. **

  5. Once you stop, pause, or end the recording, the Live Notes session will finalize and close. Zoom will then begin processing the recording.

  6. To upload a recording, wait for Zoom to finish processing. You will be notified by email from Zoom when ready. Then, click on "upload" from the Participant page or "upload recording" from the Assets page. ***

* Currently only available for enterprise customers.

** The host of the meeting must be using the Tetra Insights and Zoom integrated experience and have cloud recordings for Zoom for the Live Notes to sync properly.

*** When a Zoom integrated Live Notes is launched, a Live Notes is created on Assets.

Uninstall Zoom

  1. Click on "Integrations" under the user icon in the left hand corner.

  2. Locate the Zoom integration.

  3. Click “Uninstall”.
