How Much Does Participant Recruitment Cost?

Participant Credits:

  • B2B participants: $75 per credit (1 full credit)

  • B2C participants: $37.50 per credit (0.5 credit)

Incentive Payments:

  • Participant incentives are a direct pass-through cost

  • Plus a 3% processing fee on incentive amounts

Purchasing Credits

You have two options for buying credits:

1) Pre-purchase through Research Wallet:

  • Access your Research Wallet at Organization Settings β†’ Research Wallet (Admin access required)

  • Add a credit card to your wallet for easy purchasing

  • Buy credits individually or in bulk with discounts:

    • 10% discount for 11-20 credits

    • 15% discount for 21+ credits

  • View your current credit balance and spending history

2) Buy during recruitment:

  • If you don't have enough credits when publishing a study, you'll be prompted to purchase more

  • You'll be taken to a payment page to add credits with your credit card

When You Need to Pay

Before publishing your study, you'll see the total cost breakdown in the Review step:

  • Number of participant credits required

  • Total incentive amount needed

  • Any processing fees

If you don't have enough credits or incentive budget, you'll be prompted to purchase more before you can publish your study.

Managing Your Budget

Your Research Wallet shows:

  • Available credits

  • Available incentive balance

  • Transaction history

  • Options to add more funds

  • Saved credit cards for easy purchasing

This helps you plan and budget for multiple recruitment projects.
