Trading on Texaris accounts takes place in a simulated environment on our liquidity provider’s quote feed, which is the sole source of prices. Third-party charts (TradingView, other brokers’ terminals, aggregated price indices) are built on different data, so their highs, lows and price spikes may not match ours. This is inherent to any two independent feeds and is not evidence of an error; a screenshot of a third-party chart is not accepted as proof.
Slippage, spread widening and price gaps are normal market conditions, not a platform malfunction. All pending orders (Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Stop, Buy Stop Limit, Sell Stop Limit), as well as Stop Loss and Take Profit, are filled at the first available price after being triggered, which may differ from the price specified. Any result obtained at a price present in our feed is valid — including a stop trigger, forced position closure and drawdown limit breach — and is not grounds for a refund, balance adjustment, account restoration or reversal of a rule breach.
The exception is a manifest quote error confirmed by the liquidity provider: in such a case Texaris may, at its discretion, void the trade result or restore the account. A claim must be submitted within 5 calendar days of the order’s execution and must include the position ID; after this period the result is final.
