How to Submit Locate Requests for Multiple Streets

Create the First Request

  1. Fill in the Address Information:

    • Enter the name of the street where work is being performed.

    • Specify the closest intersecting street in the Intersection Field.

  2. Provide Accurate Driving Directions or Locating Instructions:

    • Include detailed directions or instructions to help clearly identify the work site location.

  3. Mark the Work Area on the Map:

    • Use the mapping tool to outline the work area along the street where work will take place.

    • Ensure the marked area is limited to the selected street.

  4. Submit the Request:

    • Double-check all details, including the map markings, street information, and instructions.

    • Submit the locate request once the information is verified.


Create a Request for the Next Street

  1. Duplicate the First Ticket:

    • After submitting the first request, use the Copy Ticket option. This will create a new request with the same information.

  2. Update the Street Information:

    • Change the Address Field to the next street where work will occur.

    • Update the Intersection Field to reflect the nearest cross street.

  3. Update Driving Directions or Locating Instructions:

    • Adjust any directions or instructions to reflect the correct work site location for the new street.

  4. Adjust the Map Markings:

    • Modify the work area on the map to ensure it accurately represents the location on the new street.

    • Verify the map is limited to the selected street.

  5. Submit the Updated Request

    • Review the updated ticket to confirm all changes, including the address, map markings, and instructions.

    • Submit the locate request for the second street.
