What Are Attachments Used For?
Attachments serve as visual references to assist Texas811 in notifying utility members about the location of your proposed excavation site. These visual aids provide additional clarity but do not replace the need for detailed directions.
Driving Directions and Worksite Instructions Are Still Required
While attachments offer helpful visuals, you must provide driving directions and/or worksite locate instructions in your ticket to ensure utility members and locators can accurately identify the exact location of your intended work.
Adding Attachments:
Currently Unavailable: The ability to upload attachments directly in the Portal is not available at this time. This feature is planned as part of a future enhancement on our Portal roadmap.

Best Practices for Attachments
