Apply a tax refund for a team member

Trigger a tax refund for a team member

If you believe a tax refund is required for an employee, there are two options available to verify and apply the refund.

Via Employee Profile

  1. Find and open the relevant Company record.

  2. Click Team to open the team section.

  3. Select the team member who requires the tax refund.

  4. On the right, click on the action cog ⚙️.

  5. Click Apply Tax Refund.

Once you apply the action, Paycircle will perform a check to calculate the refund due. If there is no refund due, Paycircle will confirm that this is the case.

Where there is a refund due, Paycircle will show the amount and, once you confirm the action, will add the team member to the payroll for the period, along with their tax refund.

Via Preview Pay Statement

1. Click Current Period.
2. Click Team.
3. Find the relevant employee record.
4. Click the action cog ⚙️ and select Preview pay statement.
5. Click the pencil icon ✏️ next to Tax to enter a tax amount manually.
