Paycircle comes with a set of Custom and Standard report templates, each with its own settings, set by default in the background. There is also a Standard Custom Reports pack of report templates, which is set as the default for all new companies. However, you can also create new report packs, or set a new pack as the default, to ensure only the relevant reports are available to your companies.
View the default Paycircle pack
To view the default pack assigned to your bureau, and all the companies in it, follow the steps below.
Click Bureau settings then click Report templates.
Click the Packs tab.
Your existing packs, including the default Standard Custom Reports, will already be available to view. Any packs you have already created will also be visible. To view the report templates within a pack, select a pack from the left-hand navigation.
Create new report packs
A new pack can be created from scratch, or by duplicating an existing pack, and customising the report templates available in it. To create a pack from scratch, follow the steps below.
Click Bureau settings then click Report templates.
Click the Packs tab.
Click New and give the pack a name and a description.
You can choose to set this new pack as the default by ticking the set this as the default report pack checkbox.
To create a new pack from an existing pack, follow the steps below.
Select the pack from the left-hand menu, and click the action cog ⚙️.
Click Duplicate pack.
Edit a report pack
If you need to make updates to an existing pack, follow the steps below.
Click Bureau settings then click Report templates.
Click the Packs tab.
Click the action cog ⚙️ for the pack, then click Edit settings.
Click Save.
Delete a report pack
Note: You cannot delete the pack that is set as the default. You will also not be able to delete a pack that is currently being used by one or more companies. You can view which companies and company groups are currently using a report pack by selecting ‘View companies’ and ‘View company groups’ respectively after clicking on the action cog for the pack.
If you want to delete a report pack that is no longer in use, follow the steps below.
Click Bureau settings then click Report templates.
Click the Packs tab.
Click the action cog ⚙️ for the pack, then click Delete.
