Handling certification across multiple brands in a single company or portfolio

Certifying entities have the option to pursue a single certification at the parent company level or a separate certification for each brand.

  • A parent company certification would encompass the emissions and reduction investments across all portfolio brands. This is the preferred approach if you plan to certify all subsidiary brands, and/or a majority of your operations and production is shared across brands.

  • Alternatively, separate certifications may be pursued for each brand. This is the preferred approach if you do not plan to certify all portfolio brands, and/or if the brands operate independently.
