Once you are certified, your use of the certified marks (e.g., The Climate Label) will be set out in a Brand License Agreement (BLA). The BLA also defines how and when you may use the marks and the date by which you must recertify each year in order to continue using the marks. In most cases, the term of your use of the marks is one year from the date that you receive an official notice of certification from TCCP.

This term is not aligned to a fiscal year or product season.

If your production process is long, products that are in production during a year you are certified may carry the label in a future year only if your certification is still active when those products land on shelves.
