Companies are encouraged to conduct product LCAs to analyze product-level emissions more granularly. This may be done through a custom research project or a 3rd party product footprinting tool. Product LCAs may supplement a corporate GHG inventory, but companies must still adhere to the required measurement boundary for certification (see Table 1 in the Certification Standard).
