Requirements for public disclosure
Updated over 3 weeks ago

To promote public transparency and disclosure, entities with active certifications must disclose climate transition investment information on the public website of The Change Climate Project. All requirements for public disclosure are listed in Section 7 in the Certification Standard.

Entities are required to report market- and location-based emissions if market-adjustments have been made to Scope 2 and/or Scope 3 emissions on their certification profile pages. All are strongly encouraged to include both figures in other sustainability communications as well.

Some entities may wish to include additional categories of Scope 3 emissions, such as use and disposal phase emissions. These emissions may be reported on the profile page and elsewhere, even though they are not required for certification. If they are reported, they will not affect the Climate Transition Budget calculation.
