Please note that your labels may differ depending on the customization you have made.

To begin editing a lead's profile, go to the "Leads" section on the "Home" menu.  Once there, search for the lead by typing their name in the search bar and then clicking on their name or company name to open their profile page.

After clicking on the name or Company name, you'll be taken to the lead profile which looks like this:

Please note in the screenshot above, there is a colored box around each section of the lead profile.

Blue: "Convert this Lead"
Here, you can convert the lead to a customer, or a Customer contact on the Dialogue box that appears.  When converting a lead, there must be the minimal amount of information required to create a customer.  This means the lead needs either a first and last name, or a business name.  If you happen to require intel, these criteria should also met.  If converting to a customer contact, you would be required to select the customer to assign the contact to. You can also convert the contact, if a location, to a client address.

Red: "Email", "Call", "Address"
With these buttons, you can:

  1. email the lead from Better (BPro)

  2. call the lead

  3. map their address on Google Maps

Green: "Contact" - Hold Basic Lead information
This is where the contact information for the lead is held and edited.  You'll see a number of new fields here which you have not seen as part of standard customer fields.

  1. "Lead Status" is used to determine if the lead is active or deactivate

  2.  Lead first name and last name

  3. Company name (if applicable)

  4. Address

  5. "Marketing Qualified": A lead is considered Marketing Qualified when it has a First Name and Last Name OR A business, an email address, and all the mandatory intel that are required.  This is automatically set by BPro.

  6. The "Quality" of a lead is identified by the amount of information you have for that lead. As you enter more information, the lead’s quality increases. If you have more interactions for that lead, the quality increases. Quality decreases overtime if there are no interactions.  This is automatically set by BPro.

Orange: New Interaction
Plan an Interaction: You can plan a call, meeting or email with your lead.  This will show up on the "Interactions" tile on your "My Dashboard" page at login
