The On My Way button allows you to send an SMS message to your clients to let them know you’re on your way to their Appointments and Meeting Interactions. The On My Way button uses BPro’s SMS phone notification feature to send a quick, professional message.
It's a great tool for your employees/technicians to leverage, and saves them from having to text the client from their personal phone number. It can also help prevent no-shows and surprised clients!
The button is green to help draw visual attention to it for your teams.
When you click the On My Way button, you will receive a final pop-up asking you if you are sure you want to send the notification.
The On My Way message can be sent from the Calendar page, too. It can be used on any Appointment or Meeting Interaction.
Once the On My Way button is clicked, the notification is sent to your customer immediately. The button will become greyed-out and unclickable, preventing users from sending multiple messages by mistake . This also serves as a visual indicator that the On My Way message has been sent. If the Appointment is edited or rescheduled, the On My Way button will become active again.
Here is an example of the standard SMS message the client will receive: Note: The content/text of the message is not editable, however, it uses smart tags to populate personal information. It is also not replyable. SMS messages deliver a simple notification message.
All On My Way Messages are recorded in the Job and Estimate History sections. This allows you to confirm the On My Way message was sent, when, and by who.
*Note: A BPro SMS Phone Number and credits are required to send the messages and use the On My Way button. The On My Way button will only display if you have an active BPro SMS phone number. A BPro SMS phone number is $20/month.
