You now have the ability to deactivate Client, Address, and Contact records!

Deactivating clients or leads can be very handy for indicating clients that have not purchased or that should no longer be served, ie. maybe they have moved away, or leads that should no longer be actively worked.

Deactivating addresses and contacts is also a great option if a client moves or a contact changes over time.  Rather than edit the existing records (which will change the address or contact on any historical orders), you can instead simply deactivate that address or contact, preserving the historical reference. You can then add a new address or contact in the client's profile.

Check out this short video below to learn more about Deactivating Clients, Leads, Addresses, and Contacts.

TIP:  Customers and Leads can also be deactivated from the customer list and leads list pages.  Deactivated records can still be edited also.
