You can create a Quote/Estimate for any 'Lead' or 'Customer' record in your system.
There is no limit to the number of Quotes you can create.
Quote-Orders are separate from Job-Orders
How to Create a Quote/Estimate:
1. Click the New 'Order' button located in the top-right section of your system, or from within a lead or customer profile page. (Please note: The new order button is always accessible in the top-right section of your system. Due to configurations, the label may be slightly different in your system).
2. Select 'New Estimate'
New Estimate: Creates a new blank estimate in the system right away. You will need to attach a customer or lead.
When selecting this option, you will be presented with a small pop-up window that gives you various options for the estimate. You have the ability to name your quote and proposal. You can select a customer or lead to attach to the estimate. You can also select a cart template that can be used to populate the order with standard line items and prices. (Note: the only required field below is to attach a customer or lead). Once you are finished making the proper selections, click the 'Create' button to generate the estimate.
3. Add Details to the Estimate:
Select the line items and set prices, discounts, or notes.
Create an appointment event if needed.
Email or Print the estimate.
Success! You created an Estimate!
