To create a new product or service, we start by clicking the Products and Services builder page, under the Customize menu.
Next, click on the Product Builder page, and then click Add New Product.
Name your product/service and even set a description if you like.
Choose the product type as Service, Rental, or Retail. NOTE: The product type is not changeable after saving the product/service, so it is important to set the product type appropriately.
Set your product/service price. NOTE: All products/services must have a price. Set the price to zero (0) if the service price varies per job. Then you can set the price of the line item to whatever you need on a per-job basis.
Select a Product Category to associate your product/service. NOTE: Product category is required in order to save/create the line item.
Last, click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page.
Once a product/service is created, you can edit its information at any time. Simply click the product name on the Product Builder page. If you have any questions regarding some of the advanced product options/fields, please send us a quick chat message!
