How to create a New Job, and what is a "Job with Options"?

A quick way to start creating your jobs within the system.

We have now separated jobs from estimates within the system to make them both easier to manage. We have also added a new functionality when creating jobs titled "Job with Option". This allows you a quicker way to start putting through jobs and save you time. It is found by clicking into the New Job button within the customer's profile page.

Upon selecting this option, you will be presented with a pop out window that provides various options for the job. You can then quickly provide your job with a name, select a customer to attach to the job, add a user as a job owner, and attach a cart template that was previously created. Cart templates are an efficient way to populate the job with standard line items and prices. There are no required fields in the pop out menu, so you can choose to use one or all four within this step. Simply then click the "Create" button and it will generate the job.

You will be prompted to the job screen where you can add further details. There will then need to be line items entered, an event if needed, and the ability to print or email out the invoice.
