Cart templates are a helpful way to save time by allowing you to have standard line items and prices preset in a template that you can add to orders that you are creating for your customers.

Creating a cart template is a straightforward process and can be done in two ways;

1. Through the Home tab.

2. From a Quote/Estimate or a Job.

To create a cart template from the Home tab click on the Home tab > Cart Template > Create A Template

Next, once you have clicked on 'Create A Template' you can name your template and add a description to it. Now click 'Next Step' to proceed.

After proceeding to the 'Next Step' you can now add your line items, set the quantities, prices, and add item notes within the cart template.

Once you have added all the required line items and services to the cart template you are finished. The cart template will be available for selection when you are creating new estimate/job 'with options' for your customers.

To create a cart template from a Quote/Estimate or a Job you first need to create a Quote/Estimate or a Job. Please review our articles by clicking on the links above on how to create Quotes/Estimates and Jobs. Once you have created your Quote/Estimate or Job click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the Job Information section to be able to create a template from the Quote/Estimate or a Job you are working with.

Once you click on 'Create template from Job' your cart template will be created and you will be able to apply this cart template to future Estimates or Jobs.
